B Corp Certified
We’re incredibly proud to be a business that is certified as a B Corporation, joining a global group of highly successful companies reinventing business by pursuing Purpose as well as Profit.
What is a B Corp?
Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business’s operations and covers five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.

This report has been created for our clients, suppliers, investors, colleagues and the communities we work within to demonstrate how Prime has delivered positive change and continues to drive better outcomes for people and the planet.
Being a B Corp means that we use our ability as a business to create the world we want to see at the urgent speed required to meet the challenges of climate and social breakdown.

Our B Corp Journey
Prime’s journey to becoming a B Corp wasn’t immediate. Before setting our 2019 5-year strategy, we aimed to expand our goals beyond financial targets and recognise the broader impact of our business. We identified key strategic areas: financial goals, community involvement, the importance of our staff and environmental considerations. Our aim was to restructure the 5-year plan around these themes.
During this time, we delved deeper into B Corp certification, which aligned closely with our strategic themes. We saw the B Corp process as a tool to integrate these pillars, giving our business plan focus, identity, and personality.
In the summer of 2021, we initiated the certification process. It involved extensive self-verification, collecting evidence and undergoing in-depth interviews. After a lengthy journey, we received B Corp certification in October 2022.
Certification wasn’t the primary objective for Prime. It was a means to ensure we were conducting our business in the right way, constantly improving and raising the bar. We took immense pride in achieving certification, as it placed us on par with admired businesses and demonstrated that we had been doing the right thing for a long time.
Looking ahead, we are actively engaging with the B Corp community to learn from others and bring innovative ideas back into our business. As part of this community, we have the opportunity to absorb diverse perspectives from exceptional businesses both within and beyond our industry.
Our vision is to contribute to a global economy where businesses serve as forces for good. B Corporations, purpose-driven and focused on benefiting all stakeholders, not just shareholders, are driving this change. As leaders in this emerging economy, we believe in embodying the change we want to see. Businesses should aspire to benefit everyone, understand our interconnectedness and responsibility to each other and future generations.
We are delighted to welcome Prime to the B Corp community. This is a movement of companies who are committed to changing how business operates and believe business really can be a force for good.
