Greenbank Road Surgery

More than half of the patients attending Dr Rob Barnett’s Greenbank Road Surgery in Wavertree were students, so the location of a new practice building needed to remain close to the University and its halls of residence.

A new site was identified, which was not only in an ideal location but marked a first for Prime – a joint education and health scheme development negotiated with Liverpool Council.

The council took Prime’s requirements into their own building contract and managed the build of both a new primary school and the new health centre – on one site. Both projects benefited from economies of scale during construction, in addition to shared car parking facilities when the buildings were completed.
