Greasby Health Centre

The original Greasby Health Centre was a tired, single storey building that was no longer large enough for the services the practice wanted to offer.

However the location, among other civic services such as the library and community hall, meant the site was still ideal.

With the co-operation of the local authority, site boundaries were eased to allow a two storey building construction without disturbing the existing health centre. Following occupation of the new building, the original health centre was demolished to make way for the centre’s car park. From their new purpose-designed facility the practice is now able to offer chiropody, district nursing, midwifery, minor surgery and health promotion.
