The Prime Foundation has opened applications from now until 7 January 2019 for projects and good causes in Worcestershire apply for grant funding of up to £9,215.

Established in 2007 by Prime plc, the Prime Foundation aims to provide further investment in the communities across the country where Prime has built new facilities. When a project completes, Prime donates a proportion of its profits to the Foundation, which then distributes the money as grants to local initiatives or groups.

Although it works nationally, Prime is based in Worcester and with many of its employees and suppliers living locally, the company and its staff felt strongly about supporting local groups and good causes in the area to make a difference closer to home.

Hannah Cashmore from the Prime Foundation said: “Prime has donated a share of its annual profits to the Foundation and we will distribute this on their behalf to initiatives that help improve the lives of people in Worcestershire. Receiving a grant from the Foundation would be a fantastic way to start 2019 for one or more good causes, and we are looking forward to hearing from the community about the many different schemes that would benefit from our support.”
