Special projects and initiatives in Newcastle-under-Lyme are being given the chance to apply for all, or a share of, £5,000 in grant funding from the Prime Foundation.
Established in 2007, the Prime Foundation provides extra investment in communities where Prime has built new facilities. When a project completes, Prime donates a proportion of its profits to the Foundation, which then ensures the money reaches local initiatives and groups.
The project developed in Newcastle-under-Lyme was the Belong Care Village, developed on behalf of the award-winning care provider Belong. Opened in 2018, Prime secured a location for the care village and project managed the construction.
With the care village now complete, Prime has donated £5,000 to the Prime Foundation, to be given as grants to one or more projects in the area served by Belong Care Village, Newcastle-under-Lyme. The Prime Foundation would like to hear from projects and initiatives that improve lives in the local community, are based in the ST5 postcode area and match one or more of its aims of; advancing education outside the classroom, promoting good physical and mental health and/or furthering the enhancement of social wellbeing through recreation.
