Applications are open from now until 3 October 2018 for good causes in Yeovil and surrounding regions to apply for a funding grant of more than £8,000, which is being donated to the community by the Prime Foundation.
The Prime Foundation is a registered charity which provides further investment in communities where Prime has built a new facility. When a project is completed, Prime donates a proportion of its profits to the Foundation, which then distributes the money as grants to local initiatives or groups.
To be eligible for a Prime Foundation grant a cause must match one or more of the charity’s aims and objectives, which are to advance education outside of the classroom, promote good physical and mental health and further the enhancement of social wellbeing through recreation.
Prime Plc is currently involved in the redevelopment of Yeovil Hospital as a strategic estates partner providing property, funding and development advice and support to help transform the hospital’s facilities and deliver new clinical services. Prime was integral to the delivery of the four-storey car park and access road, which opened at Yeovil Hospital in March last year. As a result of this project Prime has donated £8,325 to the Prime Foundation, to be distributed to support one or more projects in areas served by Yeovil Hospital.
Hannah Cashmore at the Prime Foundation said: “Through the Prime Foundation we learn about fantastic projects which are making a real difference at a local level. We’re looking forward to hearing about the great work being done in Yeovil and the surrounding area and donating funds to one or more causes which improve lives in the community.”
The closing date for Yeovil and District applications is 3 October 2018. Click here for more information or send any enquiries to foundation@primeplc.com.
