The Prime Foundation has launched its annual funding programme for community projects in Worcestershire. Groups can apply for up to £6,000 from now until the 15th of April 2023 to support a good cause or strengthen an existing programme.
The Foundation invests in communities where Prime has built new facilities using a proportion of profits from a development. In addition to this, at the start of each year they support causes in their home county of Worcestershire as part of their commitment to social value and improving lives in the local area.
Last year with the Prime Foundation’s support, several Worcestershire organisations gained access to fresh funding. Riverside Elim (a community group and dementia drop-in centre in Bewdley) were able to run activities including a tribal drumming session and a visit by a shetland pony and also purchased several games and activity books.
In the same year, Far Forest Lea Memorial C Of E Primary School were able to use Prime Foundation funding to build an educational nature path for children to help them learn about biodiversity and the environment.
“We have seen first-hand the impact funding has had on local groups who received support last year such as Riverside Elim, ASPIE and Fort Royal School and are proud to open up applications again to fund more community led projects” said Hannah Cashmore, Trustee of the Prime Foundation and Financial Controller at Prime, “we look forward to reading submissions and having the opportunity to further invest in our local community.”
Applicants are encouraged to apply online no later than Saturday 15 April 2023. For more information on the Foundation and how to apply, please visit https://www.primeplc.com/foundation/apply/
