A future worthy of our long lives
At Prime, we’re building a better future. One that rejects the change paralysis of the past, to develop forward-thinking care homes and retirement communities that are worthy of our long lives.
Discover how we’re already making the future a reality in our case studies below.
Belong care village
Situated at the heart of Newcastle-under-Lyme, the Belong Care Village is a remarkable vision of elderly care that is truly a part of the community. With access to an on-site public cafe, salon, gym and host of other shared facilities, Belong is not only a home to its residents but a welcoming environment for everyone.
Making this space a reality required deft navigation of the heritage site planning restrictions and a smart investment solution using multiple funding sources. From the outset, we were committed to delivering solutions that brought benefits to the wider community, as well as residents, visitors and staff. The result – the transformation of a once neglected areas into a vibrant facility, supporting an ageing population.
Dormy Care Communities Hereford Care Home
More than ever, towns and cities across the UK are in need of high-quality care home facilities; something Prime is proactively addressing via an innovative development model. By locating and securing suitable care home development sites, and preparing them for the market with pre-sale design and planning approval, Prime is removing barriers for care home operators. Using this site identification, acquisition and planning service and leveraging Prime’s land development expertise, smaller care home operators are able to compete with larger operators to realise their expansion plans.
Thanks to Prime’s foresight and expertise, Dormy Care Communities, part of Albion Care Communities, have used this model to bring their high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care to Hereford.
Mill Rise Village
Named the ‘UK’s most outstanding Extra Care Scheme’ (2009), Mill Rise embodies Prime’s spirit of making things happen and highlights how partnership working can lead to transformational results for local communities.
Mill Rise Village in Newcastle-Under-Lyme combines primary care services, with extra care housing for the over 55s – the first facility of its kind outside London.
