Safe New Futures (SNF) received funding to buy equipment to support their mental well-being programmes, where at-risk youth are able to access training, designed with cognitive behavioural therapy as a base.
With the help of the Prime Foundation, SNF were able to purchase a stock of laptops, a smartboard, a printer, camcorder and more – all made possible through the development of the new multi-storey car park and ride at Adanac Health & Innovation Campus in Southampton, developed in partnership with University Hospital Southampton.
Just as SNF received notification of their successful application, their printer stopped working, as such the fund couldn’t have come at a better time. Now, with their new printer and scanner, they can even print certificates in house, saving 75p per certificate which was previously outsourced.
“This has improved our efficiency and our ability to communicate with our course participants... It allows people with technological barriers to access our programme, and recipients have been very grateful for this provision.”
