Vamos Theatre, the UK’s leading full mask theatre company, received funding from the Prime Foundation to fund their Love Through Double Glazing production – giving nursing home residents across Worcestershire a show to look forward to during lockdown.
Masked members of the theatre put on comedic performances outside while onlookers watched from a safe distance. Eventually, when lockdown measures tightened, the Prime Foundation supported Vamos Theatre in rolling out a fully remote version of the play.
Worcester being Prime’s home town, the foundation regularly creates opportunities for local organisations and initiatives to actualise projects in hopes of improving community health and wellbeing.
