Far Forest Lea Memorial CE Primary School

Far Forest Lea Memorial CE Primary School, located in Worcestershire, serves around 100 pupils.

The school’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) applied to the Prime Foundation for funding to enhance the school’s access path. The project aimed to clean and refresh the pathway, incorporating plants and educational signage along the way. This initiative created a vibrant, nature-filled walkway, allowing students to enjoy both the beauty of nature and fun environmental facts as they arrive at school each day.

“This grant has helped us to improve the main entrance to the school playground. We have used the grant to buy plants for the borders, screening for the fence, colourful plaques and improve the step onto the playground to make it safer for our school community. We are so grateful for this grant and know that the work carried out will grow into a beautiful area for all to enjoy for many years to come. We would like to extend our gratitude to Hayley Tarbet, a parent and a member of the PTA, for investing her time and effort into making this project possible.”
