Christmas Tree Festival 2023

Prime develop space for change in health and care, collaborating with multiple organisations to create facilities that serve local communities. We envision a tomorrow where outstanding care is never restricted by the space it is delivered in and enable health service providers to make the most of their spaces, so we can all experience better care.

Beyond our professional endeavours, Prime’s tree holds a deeper meaning – each bauble adorning this wooden tree was lovingly crafted by our staff, a personal touch reflecting what Prime’s work signifies to them individually. It’s a tribute to their dedication to enhancing healthcare environments for all.

Why a wooden tree, you might wonder? It’s a nod to Prime’s sustainability journey. Linked to our efforts in reducing our environmental impact. The tree symbolises our commitment to caring for people and planet with our approach to sustainable development – decreasing environmental impact whilst delivering high quality spaces.

In 2022, we purchased land in Worcestershire as part of our commitment to sustainability and social good. This year, we began the process of restoring an old orchard on the site to increase the biodiversity of the land. The planting of trees is just one facet of our journey towards achieving net-zero emissions for all historical development projects.

The Prime Christmas tree

The Prime Christmas tree on display at the Worcester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival was handmade by volunteers at the JERICHO Wood Shack in Sutton Coldfield, a previous grant recipient of the Prime Foundation.

JERICHO aim to improve social mobility in communities through training, support and work opportunities for those who struggle to get into work due to issues like homelessness, addiction, ill health or low confidence.

The Prime Foundation’s contribution, made possible through the development of Birmingham Hospital car park and Harborne Hospital, enabled them to buy tools for a wood recycling project. Prime have kept in touch with the organisation since, displaying another of their handmade trees in the reception at head office.
