We are looking for a Development Manager with a strong technical focus to deliver a range of exciting developments across the healthcare arena. Examples of schemes onsite or in our current development pipeline include:

  • Primary care
  • Keyworker housing
  • Hotels
  • Private hospitals
  • Offices
  • Multi-storey car parks
  • Retail – within and alongside hospitals
  • Elderly care
  • Acute hospital facilities

 

As well as leading and running your own projects, you will also have the opportunity to support the delivery of large, complex schemes – often as part of a major masterplanning exercise.

Duties will include responsibility for managing the acquisition of land and property, the ability to negotiate complex contractual terms and undertake site due diligence. In addition, you will be experienced in leading technical and design teams, with responsibility for developing client briefs, managing client relationships and co-ordinating with expert colleagues from the legal, accounting, marketing and construction professions.

Senior Professional Quantity SurveyorView jobClose job

  • Salary:£50-55k (dependant on experience)

We are looking for a RICS-qualified Quantity Surveyor to provide quantity surveying resource across the business, working with both the Project Development and Construction teams on new build and refurbishment projects.

The role will include providing pre-tender/construction cost estimates for Prime’s development schemes, preparing tender and contract documents and advising on buildability and construction programming. The successful candidate will also work on Prime’s Private Investment Construction (PIC) Framework, assisting with the day-to-day management of the framework, preparing costs plans and assessing the pricing submissions that form part of each call-off.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience post APC, with knowledge of tender processes, building contracts, construction technology, BIM and BREEAM.
