I joined Prime as a Finance Assistant in 2016, my first ever role in Finance, having started studying for my AAT qualification, which Prime supported me in completing. Although I was new to accountancy, the team has been very encouraging and also supported me in completing my ACCA qualification, which has enabled me to progress from Finance Assistant to Management Accountant.

I started in the construction industry back in 1984, working my way up to Site Manager, before joining Prime. Although I joined the team during the pandemic, I was given a warm welcome and have been given more than enough support and guidance to get my job done.
A typical day in my role involves travelling to my allocated contracts, checking workmanship, quality and on-site health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out to spec.
